This in from CJ Starr:

To my fans and friends from around the world, I hope you aren’t terribly disappointed with this news. It may be a bit shocking for some. I have had fans literally from every part of the world, a lot of military friends, moms looking for a racy read, girlfriends having a fun-night in while reading my stories, people of all kinds of walks of life and from so many countries. You have put me on many bestseller lists and that I’m grateful, but most of all, I’m grateful for the love and commonality we’ve shared over the years.

Here’s my news. I have gone to India to study and have removed my posts and pages, silenced my twitter feed and removed most of my books for sale around the world. I am meditating on many things, including the direction of my life. Thank you for buying my short romance books over the years, I have always written for you, you guys are the best; we’ve had some good times. I do not know what the future holds, as that is what I am searching, I don’t know if I’ll re-release my books at a later time, but I will keep you posted. I do have some thoughts and as I’ve taken my books down, I may be re-working some of them to fit with who I am today. For now, I want to say that I love you and thank you with all of my heart! Together we’ve had fun with the city girls stories and my friends with whom I’ve written have gotten a kick out of the stories, even April from UCLA and Valentine, damn I’m going to miss my posse. For now, let me just say that I have enjoyed every minute of our friendship and I thank NLP and the talented graphic artists, editors and team for taking this unknown writer to a national and international bestselling author. But it was never about the fame, it was about being one with you.

Love, CJ

  2. We thank CJ, she wrote over 35 books while here at NLP. We’ve loved every one. We were and honored she called us home. We cannot thank her and her assistants and co-writers enough for the entertainment that many derived from her books. Through our tears, we bid farewell but not goodbye. –Roberta
